Luxe Ducts frames carpet cleaning honestly: it is an optional indoor air quality support service, not a standalone offering. That is deliberate. Carpet is the largest filter in the building and nobody ever changes it. It catches the dust, dander and allergens your ducts release, holds them at floor level where children and pets breathe, and gives them back every time somebody walks across the room. Cleaning the ducts and leaving the carpet is doing half the job.
Hot water extraction that lifts embedded soil out of the pile instead of moving it around.
Hidden pet stains are found with UV blue light before treatment, not after you notice them again.
The products we use are selected for households with children, animals and sensitivities.

Every duct cleaning disturbs settled dust. Some of it lands on the floor, which is exactly where you do not want it if somebody in the house has allergies. Doing the carpet in the same visit closes that loop, and it is why the two are booked together more often than not. It also means one crew, one set of runners and one day of your life instead of two.
Deep steam cleaning of carpet and rugs. Stain and spot treatment. UV blue light inspection for pet stains that are invisible in daylight. Stairs and upholstered treads. Common area and corridor carpet for buildings. Commercial carpet in offices, retail and banquet spaces, which is a large part of the work we do for property managers.
A rental machine gets the top of the pile. It does not lift the soil that has worked its way to the backing, and it usually leaves more water in the carpet than it takes out, which is its own problem. Professional extraction reaches the depth and pulls the water back. That is the difference between a carpet that looks cleaner for a week and one that stops feeding the air in the room.
