Why This Page Exists

Anyone Can Buy a Van and a Vacuum

Air duct cleaning is not regulated at the state level in many areas. Not every company is certified. Not every technician has completed formal training. Certification means real coursework, a real exam, and a published standard to work to. Our field technicians hold QUADCA certification in Residential and Light Commercial Air Duct Cleaning. The exam is passed, not just attended. Even our office leadership holds certification, so one standard runs from scheduling through to documentation.

We do not guess. We follow standards. What follows is the whole list, and it is deliberately shorter than what some competitors put on a van.

The List

What We Hold and What We Follow

QUADCA Certified

Field technicians hold QUADCA certification in Residential and Light Commercial Air Duct Cleaning. The exam is passed, not just attended. QUADCA is the Qualified Air Duct Cleaners Affiliation.

NADCA ACR Standards

Our cleaning process follows NADCA ACR standards. Source removal, containment and verification, done the way the published standard describes it.

EPA Guidance

Our indoor air quality work follows EPA guidance on ventilation, filtration and source control.

OSHA 30 and OSHA 10

Our Owner and President holds OSHA 30 Hour Construction Outreach Training. Technicians hold the OSHA 10 Hour course.

Aerial and Boom Lift Safety

The team holds documented aerial and boom lift operator safety training. It covers elevated access work on commercial projects.

DBE, MBE and WBE

Luxe Ducts is certified as a Disadvantaged, Minority and Women owned Business Enterprise, and is fully insured.

Safety Is Part of the Certification

The Harness Is Not for Show

Commercial duct work happens at height more often than people expect. Gymnasium ceilings, warehouse decks, rooftop exhaust stacks, high wall returns in a school corridor. Every one of those is a fall hazard before it is a cleaning job.

So the lift operator safety training is documented rather than assumed. And the OSHA construction outreach training goes all the way up to the Owner and President, rather than stopping at the crew. A company that cannot safely get to the ductwork cannot clean the ductwork.

What We Do Not Claim

This page is only worth reading if the absences mean something too. Illinois does not regulate air duct cleaning at state level, so there is no state credential for this trade and you will never see one on our van. Fully insured is the claim that actually applies to us, and it is the one we make. We are rated A+ by the Better Business Bureau of Chicago and Northern Illinois and we received their Complaint Free Award for 2022. We have not joined their accreditation programme, which is a separate thing, and we do not pretend otherwise. We follow NADCA ACR standards and we say exactly that, in those words. If a company tells you it holds a credential, the right response is to ask which body issued it and when. Ask us that question too.

Certification Is the Floor, Not the Pitch

The work is what matters. Send the consultation form or call (630) 556-8943 and we will show you the before and after set from a job like yours.
