Chicago housing stock is the reason this company gets the calls it gets. Chicago bungalows and two flats built before 1950 run octopus and gravity ductwork that in many houses has never once been opened. We open those systems, and what comes out of a gravity trunk on its first cleaning is genuinely difficult to look at. That is why we photograph it.
The city splits our work into three jobs. Bungalows and two flats in the bungalow belt, where the ductwork is original and the returns are undersized. Lakefront and near north high rises, where the real problem is the shared dryer riser and the answer is a building level schedule, not a unit level one. And gut rehabs across the north and west sides, where drywall dust from the build is still coming out of the supply registers a year later. We work all three, and we tell you at the assessment which one you have.
