Specialty
Assess, clean, sanitize, seal. We go after the source instead of pushing a scent over the top of it.
Specialty
An odour that comes back every time the system kicks on is not an air freshener problem. It is a source problem, and the source is usually inside the ductwork. Smoke and soot after a fire. A previous owner who smoked for twenty years. Pets. Standing moisture and mustiness. Construction debris left in a run. We work it in four steps: assess, clean, sanitize, seal. Masking the smell is not one of them.
We target the contamination where it lives instead of pushing dust and scent around the house.
Assess, clean, sanitize and seal, in that order, with the findings written down at step one.
Negative air and containment keep the contaminated air from touching the rest of the building.

From Our Google Reviews
We were in need of a serious cleaning and Luxe Ducts delivered. Very transparent about price and process, easy to schedule. They were a very professional service and showed before/after video and photos to show the work.

Fire leaves the visible damage in one room and the smell in the whole system. Soot travels the ductwork and settles on every internal surface it touches, including the coil and the blower wheel. Until that is removed the odour returns every time the furnace runs. We assess the extent, clean under containment, sanitize, and seal where the surface will keep releasing. Insurance and restoration schedules are routine for us.
A house that has just changed hands is the most common call. Twenty years of one household's living settles into a duct system and reintroduces itself every heating season. Lake effect winter keeps furnaces running from November into March, and a system that runs that hard recirculates whatever is already sitting in the ducts. The first cleaning after a purchase is usually the one people describe as making the house finally smell like theirs.
A musty smell that gets stronger in humid weather usually means moisture somewhere in the system, and moisture in a duct is a different problem from dust. We find where it is getting in. Construction and renovation debris is the other regular cause. Drywall dust from a teardown or a gut rehab settles into the supply trunk and comes back out of the registers for months. Both are solved at the source, and both are documented before and after.
